I think it's fine if she gains weight...but at least wear clothes that are flattering. The tank and the jeans highlight the wrong areas on her body. Those jeans are hideous no matter who is wearing them. And that belt...UGH. Tacky central.

She wouldn't look bad if she was wearing better fitting jeans and NOT that belt. She looks human, not skeletal. Maybe she gained enough weight to no longer be considered underweight and unhealthy but the media isn't used to seeing healthy women anymore.

I'm in agreement...I think a lot of it is less about the actual weight gain and more about the awful "mom" jeans and icky belt. Maybe some unflattering camera angles too. Something else I hadn't known...she is only 5"3! I know all too well from also being that height...even if you put on just a couple pounds, it shows!

You know, I don't think she would look that bad if she wasn't wearing those horrible jeans and that equally horrible belt.
