Alright, so you've heard it time and time again, but I'm going to reiterate. When you're pinching pennies, enlisting the services of cosmetology students at a local school is a great option.

I will say that personally, I'm not ready to schedule a haircut, color or waxing service with a student (again, that's just me personally). However, I'm more then game for anything else! Over the weekend I had a wonderful experience at Virignia College, a local school that offers cosmetology courses. They had a beautiful student salon and spa and I had honestly forgotten just how much cheaper services are at a school. My 45 minute long pedicure cost only $15. A blowout was $12. An hour massage was only $20!

So if you'd like to treat yourself to some pampering, but don't want to drop hundreds of dollars, Google some schools in your area and find out what services they offer!
