I love being a guinea pig for these challenges--well, at least for the first few days. (Remember Glowelle? Ugh.) 30 really will be a challenge for me. And needing to incorpate 3 more products into my routine a day will be an extreme challenge. But I'll try and be a trooper for the benefit of my lovely readers. :)
I don't care who you are or how many reps of squat thrusts you are doing per workout session--one day cellulite will rear it's ugly head. And when it does, even a small amount is enough to make you want to swear off shorts/skirts. (At least that's the case with me.)
The Challange consists of three products-dietary supplements, a smoothing gel, and patches. They all work together to release L-Carnitine into your skin (in turn this breaks up fatty deposits and is supposed to reduce the appearance of cellulite in just 30 days.)
Will be reporting back on the status of the Challenge to let you know how I like the products and if I notice any difference.

Head over to Bionic Beauty so you can have a chance to win!! The prize is worth $1615!!
I feel like I'm always writing apology posts on why things have been lacking on the blog over the past few months. Wanted to add to those posts with this one and just give an update as to why things have slowed down.
The divorce was final a couple weeks ago. Since I was little, I have always been able to write out my feelings as opposed to being able to vocalize them. Not the case in this situation. I haven't wanted to talk about it and I have a major case of writer's block. And no real desire to write down everything I've been feeling while going through all of this. I wish I could, as I'm sure writing it down and getting it out would be a much needed outlet. Instead I have thrown myself into a new relationship, work, more promotional modeling, and (surprisingly) taking pictures. (Just got a vintage Minolta 35mm that I'm incredibly excited about learning to use.) I'm moving out of the city in a week and back to the suburbs so I can save up some money to move out of state soon. In a month I will be starting back at school. (After much thought, I've decided to change my major from PR to what I really love, which is art history.)
So I'm in the middle of packing up the apartment for yet another move this year. Everything is up in the air. But I'm really hoping to be able to keep the blog going and have time to keep it updated after the move is over. The blog in itself has been a great outlet and I'm thankful to all my readers and the people I've met over the past few years while writing it.

Just got a chance to try out a product from a line I hadn't heard of yet--Retro Chic by professional hair artist Joshua Bernard. (Thanks to Beauty Choice for the sample!) Joshua's goal with the line was to develop a hair treatment system that was superior for restoring damaged hair, locking-in color, and providing lasting protection against the drying effects of harsh sunlight and chemical environments.
My thoughts on the Shampooing Potion:
- Packaging: Cute & eye-catching, however not terribly functional. The Shampooing Potion has a twist off cap and a wide opening, so it's more difficult to control the amount of product you're putting in your hand. That, and at 6AM, I drop that cap at least twice on average each morning! (Revision: I was just informed you can also pull the cap up and it has a small hole in the top. Duh. Haha.)
- Scent: Fresh and a little citrusy. No complaints here.
- Texture: Very creamy, which I thought would build up a great lather. Not so.
- End Results: Maybe I need to be using the conditioner with this product, because my hair was very dry after I rinsed this product out. It didn't leave any kind of residue and washed out easily enough, which was nice. But SO DRY! I had to use a leave-in conditioner just so I could comb through my hair and put some moisture back in it.
All in all, I was left hoping for more. But maybe when the products are all used together, the results are worth the price tag. (?)
